Foreigners divested a total of USD 8m worth of shares, putting pressure on the index, which fell to an intraday low of 595.86 points. However, the VNI quickly glanced off this bottom with the 600 level providing strong technical support. In the end, the VNI rose 2 points (or +0.34%) to close at 605.58 points. Foreigners selling was concentrated on large caps such as VIC, which slid another 0.9% after receiving the largest foreign sell orders today.
