The VN-Index fell for a second day on Wednesday after strong selling at the close left the market down seven tenths of a percent. Three banks - VCB (-3.0%), BID (-4.8%) and CTG (-3.2%) - were the top contributors to the day's loss while VPB (-1.9%) and MBB (-2.7%) also pulled back. TCB (+1.3%) managed to buck the trend. Brokerages also weighed on the index, led by SSI (-3.3%), HCM (-6.4%), VND (-3.4%) and VCI (-1.5%).
