Despite there being 212 decliners to just 169 gainers on HOSE, the VN-Index increased two tenths of a percent on Friday to achieve a new all-time high for the second day in a row as the financial sector made strong gains. Furthermore, the VN-Index finished the week up 2.2%, marking its third straight weekly gain.
