Market drops on EVN proposal to raise electricity prices – According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Thoa, Head of Pricing Management Department, EVN is again considering a proposal to increase electricity retail prices by 5-10%. EVN is arguing that production cost has increased significantly by 3.29%. As such, the price needs to be increased VND42.95/kWh, to an average price of VND1,347/kWh.
