The VN-Index climbed seven tenths of a percent on Wednesday to a two-month high. The index is up 8.2% over the last six weeks, bouncing off an 11-month low. Banks led the charge higher, with VCB (+2.1%) making the biggest contribution to the day’s gain. BID (+3.3%), TCB (+2.1%), CTG (+0.9%) and MBB (+1.1%) also outperformed the overall market.
