The VN-Index experienced its second consecutive positive session as it gained two tenths of a percent on Monday. Banks performed particularly well. VCB (+1.4%) was the leading contributor to the day’s gain while EIB (+5.3%) and CTG (+1.9%) surged to six-week and one-month highs, respectively. TCB (+1.1%) also climbed. Among the Vingroup family of stocks, VHM (+1.2%) and VRE (+3.3%) both increased. Meanwhile, parent company VIC (-0.2%) fell to its lowest share price since December 3.
