The VN-Index fell for a third day to its lowest level since November, closing down two percent on Wednesday. The index has plunged 26% since hitting a record high three months ago. Banks led decliners with heavy losses across the sector, led by VCB (-3.6%), CTG (-6.5%), BID (-6.6%), VPB (-6.8%), HDB (-6.6%), TCB (-6.9%) and MBB (-5.8%). Brokerages also sold off, including SSI (-6.0%), HCM (-7.0%), VND (-5.9%) and VCI (-1.8%).
