On Tuesday, the VN-Index increased three tenths of a percent to close at a seven-month high of 999.59 points. Trading value on HOSE jumped to USD205.8mn, which is above the one-month average of USD180mn. Financial tickers made up seven of the day’s top ten contributing gainers. VCB (+1.6%) was the leading contributor to the gain, followed by BID (+1.5%), TCB (+1.7%), VPB (+1.4%), BVH (+1.2%), MBB (+1.1%) and CTG (+0.7%). Notably, BVH has jumped 5% over the past four sessions.
