The VN-Index climbed to a two-week high on Thursday as it closed up by seventh tenths of a percent. In terms of market breadth, there were 156 gainers, 116 laggards and 92 stocks that went unchanged. For the second day in a row, banks had a positive impact on the index. VCB (+1.9%) was the leading contributor to the gain as it increased for the seventh straight session. BID (+2.2%), TCB (+2.0%), CTG (+1.5%) and VPB (+2.1%) also climbed. MSN (+5.0%) recovered after dropping almost 11%
