The VN-Index climbed more than 1% for the third time in the past four sessions, closing up 1.1% on Wednesday as there was strong buying demand for bank tickers. The banking sector was the leading driver for the VN-Index’s gain. VCB (+2.1%), TCB (+6.9%), BID (+2.8%), VPB (+4.3%), MBB (+3.5%), CTG (+1.1%) and STB (+4.1%) were all among the day’s top 10 contributor gainers. So far this week, real estate developer NVL (+2.4%) has jumped more than 5%.
