GAS released official H1 results with revenue growing by 9.7% to VND32 trillion (USD1.4 billion) and NPAT growing by 33.7% to VND3.9 trillion (USD175.6 million). Such a good performance was mainly due to a robust fuel oil price recovery as sales volume fell by 7.6% YoY. GAS’s H1 results accounted for 51.3% and 60.9% of our respective 2017F revenue and NPAT forecasts. We are planning to revise up our earnings forecast by 5%-10% in the update report.
