CII’s 2016 bottom line reached VND856 billion (USD38 million), up 37% vs 2015 and equalling 104% of our previous forecast. Financial gains, which stem from CII’s ongoing restructuring process in its subsidiaries that began in 2013, were the major drivers behind 2016 earnings. We maintain our positive long-term view on CII, driven by strong contributions from its BOT projects and high returns expected from its land lots in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area.
