The VN-Index saw no material change (-0.03%) on Thursday to close the trading day at 1,631.4. Performance was mixed among large-cap stocks, with laggards just slightly outweighing gainers. Across the index, there were 159 gainers, 137 laggards, and 63 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume increased from the previous trading day to USD824.2mn.
* In banking, VCB (+0.5%), BID (+0.1%), and TCB (+0.3%) rose, while CTG (-0.7%), VPB (-0.9%), and MBB (-0.8%) fell.
* In real estate, VHM (-0.7%) and VRE (-2.6%) declined as BCM (+1.5%), KDH (+1.0%), KBC (+1.4%), and NVL (+1.5%) surged. VIC (0.0%) was unchanged.
* Financial services tickers underperformed, with TCX (-0.9%), SSI (-1.6%), VIX (-1.8%), VND (-1.5%), and VCI (-1.2%) sharply dropping.
