The VN-Index edged up 0.3% (+4.0 pts) on Friday to close the trading day at 1,635.5. The index saw a net gain of 2.3% for the week. Across the index, there were 148 gainers, 137 laggards, and 76 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume decreased from the previous trading day to USD789.3mn.
* In banking, VCB (+0.3%), BID (+0.1%), and VPB (+0.2%) ticked up and LPB (+2.0%) surged. CTG (-0.6%), ACB (-0.6%), and STB (-1.3%) dropped.
* In real estate, VHM (+0.6%), VRE (+0.5%), and KDH (+0.6%) posted solid gains while NVL (+6.8%) jumped. VIC (-0.1%) and BCM (-0.6%) declined.
